every time i get curious about some new thing they're adding to baldur's gate 3 i read the prepatch notes about how the patch is 40GB and then remember why i uninstalled that game
i hope that baldur's gate 3 doesn't have the divinity original sin 1/2 problem where the first act is available for players to test which means that its quality is dramatically higher than the other acts

that being said i played through original sin 2 before the definitive edition came out so there's a reasonable chance they made it better
