i prefer comics (or 'graphic novels'. whatever) to novels because they're quicker to read, and because i'm oversensitive to bad writing but easily impressed by even halfway good visual art

@horsefucker_thicc This is me 100%. Like, the art for "Nameless" is amazing and horrifying but the writing is completely ridiculous. Grant Morrison even has an essay at the end explaining all the obscure bullshit he threw in to the writing and it's so eyeroll-worthy that it gives me a headache to even consider. But boy is that comic book pretty to look at.
